Licensed Practical Nurse - Licensed practical nurses (LPNs), or licensed vocational nurses (LVNs), care for the sick, injured, convalescent, and disabled under the direction of physicians and registered nurses.

Nursing Care - skilled or intermediate care provided by one of more health care professionals like registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, licensed practical nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, respiratory therapists, medical social workers or registered dietitians.

Physician - means any person licensed as a Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) practicing within the scope of his or her license issued by the jurisdiction in which the services are rendered.

Registered nurse - nurses with a college degree that work to promote health, prevent disease, and help patients cope with illness. They are advocates and health educators for patients, families, and communities. When providing direct patient care, they observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress in patients; assist physicians during surgeries, treatments, and examinations; administer medications; and assist in convalescence and rehabilitation.
